M. Gayle Hoffman

Gayle Hoffman practices almost exclusively in the areas of Family Law. Family Law includes the issues of dissolution of marriage divorce), collaborative family law, maintenance or spousal support, child custody and visitation or parenting time, property division marital and non-marital property), child support, and establishment of child support, paternity, post decree review or modification of child support or custody/parenting time, adoptions, (both placements by the Cabinet, step-parent or relative adoptions, agencies and independent or non-agency adoptions), and finally, post decree enforcement or agreements and court orders.

Ms Hoffman is and always has been deeply committed to family. First and foremost, she is a dedicated, loving and very proud mother of two adult daughters, and is married to their father, also an attorney. She comes from a very large and close knit family (14 children) and there are a total of six attorneys in the family. Her father, Robert C. Hoffman, founded The Hoffman Firm, and she joined the practice in 1980. While her father still practices, he has reduced his case load a bit as he eases into retirement.

She earned her Juris Doctorate from Northern Kentucky Chase College of Law in 1980 and is admitted to practice in all state courts in Kentucky, including the last established Family Courts in Boone, Campbell, Kenton, Gallatin and Grant Counties. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Supreme Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and was admitted in 2007 to the United States Supreme Court.
